Accessibility statement for Apply for New Style Jobseeker’s Allowance

This service is run by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP). We want as many people as possible to be able to use this service. For example, that means you should be able to:

  • change colours, contrast levels and fonts
  • zoom in up to 300% without the text spilling off the screen

This statement was prepared on 22 December 2020. It was last reviewed on 18 December 2020.

This service was last tested in October 2020. The test was carried out by the Disability Accessibility Centre.

Testing was carried out using a combination of automated and manual testing, including assistive technologies: JAWS, Dragon and ZoomText.

We used a sampling approach, selecting pages which were visually or operationally different to one another. The sample was chosen to cover as many different components and design patterns as possible.
